Presser Foot Presser with BSR*

In the user manual (BSR manual as well as in the sewing computer manual), it is stated that when using the BSR the presser foot pressure should be reduced immediately to the minimum. However, with the experience we have gained in using the BSR over the past year, we have found that reducing to minimum is not always needed.

As with most sewing, the pressure should be reduced when working with high loft batting. If working with single layers of fabric and stabilizer, the pressure does not need to be reduced, or it needs to be only slightly reduced.

When using the artista 200/730, please adjust to the technique you are sewing and the fabric being used. The 200/730 pressure rarely needs to be reduced all the way.
