Pillowcase Challenge Continues
We were pleased to give 83 pillowcases and 9 quilts to Family Support Network this quarter. That totals 210 pillowcases and 17 quilts donated to the families of Billings. Thanks to everyone for your continued participation in this effort.

If you haven't already participated, the million pillowcase challenge is sponsored by American Patchwork & Quilting. They are challenging us to join their efforts to "Make a Pillowcase, Make a Difference". Every pillowcase can make a difference in our community. A pillowcase can provide comfort for a cancer patient, hope for a foster child, encouragement for a battered woman, or beauty for a nursing home resident.

Bernina Sewing Center is participating in this challenge, and hosting events where you can come in and create pillowcases to be donated in our community. Keep your pattern and donate your pillowcase. There will be a class each month featuring a new pillowcase pattern. Class fee is $12 and includes the pillowcase kit. If you would like to use one of our machines rather than bring your own, please let us know when you sign up. If you make pillowcases at home, you may drop them off at Bernina Sewing Center for distribution. Let's do our part in making a difference in our community. We really need your help!
